Everything you need to know about the Streameow media player — starting your free trial, activating a device with your own playlist, which screens it runs on, and how the one-time lifetime license works.
Last updated 30 June 2026Getting started
Try Streameow free for a week, then activate the device you want to keep watching on.
How does the 7-day free trial work?
Download Streameow, open it, and you get 7 days of full access on that device — every feature unlocked, no credit card and no commitment.
When the trial ends, you simply buy a one-time lifetime license for the device(s) you want to keep using. Your settings, favorites and playlist stay exactly as you left them.
How do I activate a device and add my playlist?
It takes about a minute:
- Install Streameow from the download page for your platform.
- Start the free trial, or enter the license key from your purchase email to activate the device.
- Add your own playlist — paste the playlist URL (or login details) you received from your own provider.
That's it — your live TV, movies and series load straight into the player. You can manage devices and playlists any time from your account portal.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The 7-day trial needs nothing but the app — no card, no billing details. You only enter payment information if you decide to buy a lifetime license after trying it.
What do I need before I begin?
Two things: a supported device, and your own playlist. Streameow is the player — it does not come with any channels, movies or series, so you bring a playlist (commonly an M3U URL) from a provider you already subscribe to. See our content disclaimer for details.
Devices & apps
One app, every screen in the house — and your license stays yours.
Which platforms does Streameow run on?
Streameow is one player across your phone, your desktop and your Smart TV:
- Mobile — Android phones & tablets, and iPhone / iPad.
- TV — Amazon Fire TV and LG Smart TVs (webOS).
- Desktop — Windows, macOS and Linux.
Head to the download page to grab the build for your device.
How many devices can one purchase cover?
The lifetime license is priced per device, so you only pay for the screens you actually use:
- $10 — 1 device
- $15 — 2 devices
- $20 — 3 devices
Pick the tier that matches your household on the plans page.
Can I move my license to a new device?
Yes. If you replace a phone, TV or computer, you can release the old device from your account portal and activate the new one in its place — no extra charge, as long as you stay within the number of devices on your plan.
If you ever get stuck, our support team can move it for you.
Billing
Pay once. No subscription, no surprise renewals.
Is this a subscription or a one-time payment?
One-time. You pay a single lifetime price for the device(s) you choose ($10 for 1, $15 for 2, $20 for 3) and there are no recurring charges from us — ever. Streameow is the app; your separate playlist provider bills you separately, if at all.
How do I pay, and is checkout secure?
Payments are handled by Paddle, our secure payment provider, which acts as the merchant of record. You can pay with major cards and the other methods Paddle supports in your region. We never see or store your full card details.
Can I get a refund?
Because there's a full 7-day free trial before you pay, we ask you to confirm Streameow works for you during the trial. That said, we do consider refunds — please read the full terms on our refund policy page, then reach out to support if you qualify.
Playlists & content
Streameow plays your media. It is not a source of channels or content.
Does Streameow provide channels, movies or series?
No. Streameow is a media player only. It does not sell, host, bundle or include any channels, content, media or playlists. You add your own playlist from a provider you already have a legitimate subscription with. Full details are on our content disclaimer.
Where do I get a playlist?
From your own licensed provider — the same service that supplies your live TV, movies and series. They give you a playlist link (or login) which you paste into Streameow. We don't recommend, sell or supply providers, and we can't help you find one. See the disclaimer for what that means.
What is an M3U / playlist URL?
It's simply a link to a file that lists the streams in your subscription. When you add it to Streameow, the player reads that list and shows your live TV, movies and series in a clean, organised interface. You can add it on the activate a device screen, and update or replace it any time.
Account & support
Real people on chat and email, and a clear picture of the little we store.
How do I contact support?
Two ways: the live chat on our website, or email. Whichever you prefer, head to the contact page — it helps to include your account email and license key so we can find you quickly.
What information does Streameow store about me?
As little as possible to run your license and player: your email address, your license key, a device identifier for each activated device, and the playlist URL you add so it syncs across your screens. We don't watch what you play. Full details are in our privacy policy.
I lost my license key — what now?
No problem. Sign in to your account portal with the email you bought with and your key is right there, along with your devices. If you can't access that email, use account recovery or message support and we'll verify you and resend it.
Still have a question?
Can't find it here? Start a chat or drop us an email — we're happy to help before and after you buy.
