01Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Streameow ("Streameow", "we", "us" or "our") and govern your access to and use of the Streameow applications, websites and related services (together, the "Service").

By downloading, installing, starting a free trial, activating a licence, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Disclaimer, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

02What Streameow is

Streameow is a media player. It is a tool that plays and organises media from playlists that you provide — for example a standard playlist link or file from your own licensed provider — so you can enjoy live TV, movies & series across your phone, desktop and Smart TV.

Streameow does not provide, sell, host, supply, bundle, resell or include any channels, streams, media, content or playlists, and it has no affiliation with any content provider. We do not control, review or guarantee the legality, availability or quality of any content you choose to add or play. Streameow is the player only — the content is entirely yours and is your responsibility (see section 06).

In plain terms: think of Streameow like a music or video player you install on your devices. You bring your own playlist from a provider you have a lawful relationship with; Streameow simply plays it nicely.

03Eligibility & your account

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. By using Streameow you represent that you meet these requirements.

To use the Service you may need to provide a small amount of information — typically your email address, a licence key, a device identifier and the playlist link you choose to add. You are responsible for keeping your licence key and account details accurate, current and secure, and for all activity that takes place under your account or on your licensed devices. Please notify us promptly if you believe your key or account has been compromised.

04The 7-day free trial

New users may start a 7-day free trial so you can evaluate whether Streameow works well with your own playlists and devices before paying anything.

  • The trial gives you access to the player's core features for the trial period on the device(s) you start it on.
  • No payment is taken to begin a trial, and there is nothing to cancel — if you choose not to buy a licence, the Service simply stops working when the trial ends.
  • The trial is intended for genuine evaluation. We may limit or withdraw trials where we detect abuse, such as repeatedly creating new trials to avoid paying.
  • Trial functionality is provided "as is" and may change at any time.

05Licence, devices & pricing

When you purchase a licence, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use the Streameow player for your own private, non-commercial enjoyment, on the number of devices covered by your purchase.

One-time, lifetime, per-device

A Streameow licence is a one-time purchase — there is no subscription and no recurring fee. The licence is tied to your device(s) and is intended to last for the usable lifetime of the Service. Current pricing is a one-time fee per device:

  • $10 — licence for 1 device
  • $15 — licence for 2 devices
  • $20 — licence for 3 devices

Prices are shown at checkout and may change for new purchases from time to time; a change in price never affects a licence you have already bought. "Lifetime" means the working life of the Service and does not constitute a promise that the Service, any feature, or any third-party content will remain available indefinitely.

Per-device & non-transferable

Each licence is bound to the specific device(s) it is activated on, up to the device limit you purchased. You may not sell, rent, lease, sublicense, share, publish or otherwise transfer your licence or licence key to anyone else. We may offer a way to move a licence from an old device to a new one at our discretion; this is a convenience, not a right to redistribute the licence.

06Your playlists & content

You are solely responsible for any playlist, link, file or content you add to or play through Streameow. You alone choose what to load into the player, and you do so at your own risk.

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

  • You own, or have a valid licence, subscription or other lawful right to access and play, all content you add to Streameow.
  • Your use of that content complies with all applicable laws and with the terms of the provider that supplies it to you.
  • You will not use Streameow to access, stream, copy, redistribute or display content that you are not authorised to access, including pirated, infringing or otherwise unlawful material.

Streameow has no knowledge of, and no control over, the content of any playlist you provide. We do not host or transmit that content — it travels directly between you and your provider. Any disputes about content, billing or availability are strictly between you and your content provider. Please also read our Disclaimer.

07Acceptable use

You agree to use Streameow lawfully and reasonably. In particular, you agree to:

  • Use the Service only for your own private, personal and non-commercial enjoyment.
  • Only add playlists and content you are lawfully entitled to access.
  • Keep your licence key confidential and use it only on the device(s) you have licensed.
  • Comply with all laws that apply to you, including copyright and content-licensing laws in your country.

08Prohibited use

You must not, and must not allow anyone else to:

  • Use Streameow to access, store, share or distribute content you do not have the rights to, or for any unlawful, infringing or fraudulent purpose.
  • Sell, resell, sublicense, rent, share, publish or otherwise transfer your licence, licence key or account.
  • Use the Service for any commercial purpose, including public performance or rebroadcasting, without our prior written consent.
  • Copy, modify, decompile, reverse-engineer, disassemble or attempt to derive the source code of the Service, except to the limited extent that applicable law expressly permits.
  • Circumvent, disable or tamper with licensing, activation, security or device-limit mechanisms, or use cracked, patched or unauthorised builds of the app.
  • Interfere with, overload, probe or disrupt the Service or its supporting infrastructure, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system or account.
  • Use the Streameow name, logo or branding in a way that suggests we supply, endorse or are responsible for any channels or content.

Violating this section is a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate suspension or termination of your access, without refund.

09Payments & refunds

Payments for licences are processed by our payment provider, Paddle, which may act as the merchant of record for your purchase. By buying a licence you also agree to Paddle's applicable buyer terms. Taxes may be added at checkout depending on your location.

Because Streameow offers a genuine 7-day free trial that lets you fully evaluate the player with your own playlists before paying, refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy. Please read it before purchasing. If you have a problem with your purchase, contact us first — we are happy to help.

10Intellectual property

The Streameow applications, websites, design, logo, name and all related software and materials are owned by Streameow or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Your licence grants you the right to use the Service as described in these Terms; it does not transfer any ownership rights to you.

Nothing in these Terms gives you any rights in, and we claim no rights in, the content you choose to play through the Service — that content belongs to its respective owners.

11Third-party services

The Service may rely on or link to third parties — for example app stores, the payment provider, content providers you bring, and the networks that deliver your playlists. We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content, availability, policies or practices. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that party's own terms and policies.

12Privacy

We keep the data we handle to a minimum — typically your email, licence key, device identifier and the playlist link you add — and we use it to operate the Service, deliver and validate licences, and provide support. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to that policy.

13Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted or error-free operation, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We do not warrant that the Service will be compatible with every device, network, playlist or provider, or that it will be available without interruption. As a player only, Streameow makes no representation about — and is not responsible for — the legality, quality, accuracy or availability of any content you choose to play. See our Disclaimer for more detail.

14Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Streameow and its owners, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill or content, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service — including any claim relating to the content you choose to play.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you actually paid us for your licence in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you; in that case our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law.

15Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Streameow and its owners, employees and partners from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) the playlists or content you add or play; (b) your breach of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any law or of the rights of any third party, including any content provider or rights holder.

16Suspension & termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or use it for unlawful purposes — including any unauthorised access to or distribution of content.

On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification and governing law — will continue to apply.

17Changes to the Service and these terms

We may update, improve or discontinue features of the Service over time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; when we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree with a change, please stop using the Service.

18Governing law & disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Streameow service operator is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You agree that the courts located in the jurisdiction in which the Streameow service operator is established will have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your place of residence.
