Refund Policy

Streameow is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Because every customer gets a genuine, no-card 7-day free trial to evaluate the media player first, license purchases are generally non-refundable once activated. Here is exactly how that works — written to be fair, and to honour the exceptions that matter.

Section 01Start with a genuine 7-day free trial

Streameow is a cross-platform media player for your phone, your desktop and your Smart TV. You bring your own playlist from your own licensed provider, and Streameow plays your live TV, movies & series. We never sell or supply channels, content or playlists.

Before you pay anything, every device can run a full 7-day free trial. The trial is the real app, with the real features — the only limit is time. It exists so you can confirm that Streameow runs well on your device, plays your playlist, and feels right before you commit.

Why this matters for refunds

The trial replaces the “try then refund” cycle

Because you can evaluate everything for free for a full week, paying for a license is a deliberate, informed choice. That is why a license is generally non-refundable once it has been activated — the trial is the moment to decide, with zero risk and no card required.

Section 02What you’re buying

A Streameow license is a one-time, lifetime license per device — there is no recurring charge and nothing to cancel. You choose the number of devices you want to activate:

$101 device · lifetime
$152 devices · lifetime
$203 devices · lifetime

The license unlocks the media player itself. It does not include, and is entirely separate from, any playlist, channels, content or subscription you may hold with a provider — those remain your responsibility and are not part of this purchase.

Section 03Our refund position

Once a license has been activated on a device, the purchase is considered delivered in full and is generally non-refundable. By activating, the digital product has been provided to you and the value — a permanent, lifetime unlock — has been delivered.

We take this position because the 7-day free trial already gives you everything you need to make your decision at no cost. If the app does not suit you, the time to walk away is during the trial, before any payment is made.

That said, we are reasonable people. The sections below set out the situations in which we will review and, where appropriate, refund — and how to reach us.

Section 04Exceptions we always honour

We will review and, where the claim is valid, issue a refund in these cases:

  • Duplicate or accidental charge. If you were billed more than once for the same device or order, we will refund the extra charge in full.
  • A genuine, unresolved technical fault. If a confirmed fault in the Streameow app prevents it from running on a supported device, and we are unable to resolve it within a reasonable time after you contact us, we will refund the affected license.
  • Never activated, contacted promptly. If you paid but the license was never activated on any device, and you reach out to us shortly after purchase, we will look to make it right.
  • An unauthorised or fraudulent charge. If a payment was made without your authorisation, contact us (and your bank) and we will help resolve it.
Let us help first

Most “it won’t play” issues are quick fixes — a playlist URL, a network setting, or a device tweak. Before requesting a refund for a technical problem, please give our support team a chance to help; we resolve the large majority of cases within minutes over chat.

Section 05What a refund doesn’t cover

To keep things fair for everyone, the following are not grounds for a refund once a license has been activated:

  • Simply changing your mind after activating — the free trial is provided precisely so you can decide beforehand.
  • Anything to do with your playlist or provider. Streameow supplies no channels, content or playlists. If your provider stops working, expires, or your playlist URL is invalid, that sits with your provider, not with the media player.
  • Your network, internet connection or hardware — for example slow buffering caused by your ISP, Wi-Fi, or an unsupported or underpowered device.
  • Quality or availability of the streams themselves, which depend entirely on the source you add, not on Streameow.
  • Buying the wrong device tier. Where possible we’ll help you adjust your activation rather than refund — just ask.
  • Not getting around to using the license, or forgetting you bought it. A lifetime license does not expire and stays ready whenever you are.
  • Violations of our Terms, or refund requests made together with a payment dispute or chargeback that bypasses this process.

Section 06How to request a review

Think your situation fits one of the exceptions above? We’re happy to take a look. Reach out through the on-site chat or by email, ideally within 14 days of your purchase, and include:

  1. The email address used at purchase.
  2. Your license key (and the device ID, if you have it).
  3. Your order or receipt number from the payment confirmation.
  4. A short description of the issue — and, for a technical fault, what you saw and on which device.

We aim to respond within 3–5 business days. If we need more detail to resolve a technical fault, we’ll work through it with you first — the goal is always to get Streameow working for you.

Section 07Payments & how refunds are processed

Payments for Streameow are handled by our payment provider, Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record. Your receipt and order details come from Paddle.

Where a refund is approved, it is issued back to the original payment method through Paddle. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it can take a few business days for the amount to appear on your statement. We don’t charge a fee to process an approved refund.

Section 08Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits or removes any rights you may have under the consumer protection laws that apply to you. Where the law grants you a mandatory right to a refund or to cancel, that right always stands.

Please note that, in many places, a right to cancel a digital product can end once its delivery has begun with your consent. By activating your license — after a free trial during which no delivery or payment is required — you acknowledge that the digital product is being made available to you immediately.

Section 09Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to keep it clear and accurate. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to that purchase.

Section 10Contact us

Questions about a charge, a refund, or anything in this policy? We’d rather hear from you than have you wonder. Start a conversation on our on-site chat or send us an email and a real person will get back to you.
